Our HistoryTrinity Reformed Presbyterian Church was organized in September 2013 with a commitment to reformed worship and reformed theology begun by a group of around 60 Christians in Locust, NC.
Rev. Michael Cannon, a PCA minister serving as a military Chaplain at Ft. Bragg was called as the pastor and began full time ministry at Trinity in July 2014. He served Trinity through March 2016. |
Pastor: Rev. G. Mark James
Rev. G. Mark James was ordained and installed as Pastor of Trinity RPC on February 19, 2017. Pastor Mark was born in Tallahassee, Florida, and grew up in Mobile, Al. He graduated from Huntingdon College (Montgomery, AL) in 2002. After completing a Masters degree in Biblical/Theological Studies at the University of Mobile, Mark moved to Charlotte, NC, in 2007 to attend Reformed Theological Seminary. He graduated from RTS-Charlotte in 2011 with his M.Div. and worked for RTS-Distance Education until he was called to pastor Trinity. Mark is married and has 4 children. In his free time, Mark likes to spend time with his family, watch Alabama football, and read. |
Administrative Assistant: Judy Parnell
Judy was born in Stanly County and graduated from Evans Business College in Concord, NC. She and her husband Ray have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. She and her husband served in Missions with CLC Publications (formerly Christian Literature Crusade) in Fort Washington, PA for 12 years. Judy then served as Administrative Assistant in Academic Affairs at Westminster Theological Seminary in Glenside, PA for 14 years. She and her husband moved back to NC 12 years ago and she has served as Administrative Assistant for Trinity RPC since it was organized in 2013. |
